what can we say about Rays. At
first none of our group was sure it was worth the couple of miles over dirt (but
good ) road was going to be worth it. Well
it definitely was. Ray, his wife
and his staff was there to greet us and flag us into our sites.
He then proceeded to greet each of us in person and let us know to call
on him for anything if we needed it. He
directed us to fruit trees where we could pick various types of citrus fruits, etc. All the sites are grassed, big
and fully serviced. The campground
is on a working ranch that sits in a beautiful valley 5 minutes from the
friendly town of Mulege.
On site is Rays world class restaurant complete with excellent live
entertainment and the quaintest dining room we have seen on this journey.
He is the Chef and I donít use that term lightly.
He speaks perfect English and lives right beside the campground.
The pool is beautiful although we never went in.
Fresh organic vegetables are walking distance away (maybe ĺ of a mile).
The town of Mulege is lots of fun and many Gringos have settled into the
area for the long haul. Beautiful
beaches within easy driving distance. We
will be returning to this area for a week or so before we leave the Baja this
year. Thanks for a great time Ray.
You define the word hospitality.
