Our Stay at Playa Norte RV Park in Los Barriles Baja Sur Mexico.
Jan 24 - Feb 6
GPS Coordinates = N 23,42,117 W 109,42,100
Power = 128 volts
Water = Pressure was low but since we only fill up our tank via our filter
system it didnít matter. Here is
some info on how we filter our water.
Sewer. Worked fine.
Some sites have it some sites donít.
Solar OPS. No problem as the
trees in this part of the country are short and there is lots of sunshine.
Satellite TV and Internet (Motosat) OPS.
Same as above.
Wifi, good when there but occasionally disappeared (TeleMex problems).
We have an external antenna we got from www.radiolabs.com
that enables us to reach signals easier from within the coach.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The staff was great, (William, Jullie and Molo) and the views
were fantastic. We took a beach
front lot and watched the sun come up every morning over the sea of Cortez.
The Manta Rays would school by and jump out of the water 3 or 4 feet just
offshore. Mornings were calm and
quiet and afternoons breezy enough to take the heat away but not enough to take
down the awning. There is a separate caravan area which is easy in easy out.
All the sites are huge. Lots
of foliage and excellent bathroom and shower facilities many being added and
upgraded as we speak. It is the
nicest campground we have stayed at on our Baja Journey.
It is well supervised and even the Policia drive through at night for a
presence although this is a quiet small town and I doubt there are any crime
problems. Wind surfers and Kite
Surfers will like this spot as there seem to be literally dozens of them out
Here are a few pics.
Older outdoor bathroom - very nice
New campground shower house and bathrooms currently being
The beach area - lots of kite surfing
A beautiful sunrise with a few stingray slapping the water
